A baby girl has died after being found unresponsive in a river on the NSW North Coast.
Emergency crews were called to a property on the Clarence River at Palmers Island, 55km north-east of Grafton, about 10.15am on Sunday, after the 19-month-old girl was reported missing.
Officers began searching the property and surrounding area.

The girl was found unresponsive in the river about 20 minutes later.
Police performed CPR until paramedics arrived and took her to Maclean Hospital; however, the child was unable to be revived.
An investigation has been launched into the circumstances surrounding her death.
Those inquiries are continuing and a report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
